The Russian defender club of the National hockey League (NHL) “Colorado avalanche” Nikita Zadorov spoke about the desire to fight on the ice with a fellow from the “Washington capitals” Alexander Ovechkin. About it reports Sportbox.
The athlete recalled last year’s fight three-time world champion with the Russian Andrei Sveshnikovym and justified the action of the latter.

Svechnikov had a fight with Ovechkin during the third match of the first round series of the playoffs of the Stanley Cup last year. Ovechkin knocked out his opponent, after which he was unable to return to the ice. According to the forward of the capitals, the opponent himself asked him to fight.
After the incident, Svechnikov was in the hospital with a concussion. He missed the remaining matches of the series in which his club won 4:3.
