Former world Boxing champion, American Mike Tyson told about preparation for fight against compatriot Roy Jones. His words are quoted by Boxingscene.
Tyson said that at the moment is in great shape, but going to improve it. “Today I ran four miles (about 6.5 kilometers), then sprints, and then I get to go to box. Anyone who knows me will understand that I do not know how to slow down and unable to fight aggressively. And now I am even more enthusiasm,” he added.
The boxer said that he was returning to a ring for a living. “The fight will be for charitable purposes. Do not worry, do not envy, I will never be rich. I get nothing, and doing it because you can,” he concluded.
Tyson spoke about the desire to fight Jones on July 21. In response, Jones said that without a doubt accepted the offer to box with former world champion in heavy weight. The confrontation will take place in California on September 12.
In late April, Tyson announced the desire to return to the professional ring for charity tournaments. The American has not fought since 2005.
